Harbour Hospice is the only specialist, palliative care provider for families living in the Hibiscus Coast, North Shore and Warkworth / Wellsford communities. We provide compassionate, free care working primarily with patients, families and carers in their homes, and also within our three hospice sites. Our bespoke services include medical care, spiritual support, physiotherapy, social activities and more, with an emphasis on helping people live every moment in whatever way is important to them.
About the role
The Retail Manager will be responsible for the overall running of the shop on their specified days of work. This is a hands-on role that will work alongside our dedicated volunteers to ensure a fantastic customer experience for our donors and customers alike. Our Takapuna Hospice Shop one of our North Shore Flagship fashion shops. Trading 7 days a week attracting tourists and city dwellers from across the bridge to our beautiful beach which is within walking distance to the shop.
Days of Work
Alternating between Monday to Thursday and Tuesday to Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm
As an experienced retail professional, you will have proven experience in fashion with comprehensive knowledge of brands and their value. You are a master at appraising vintage treasures, you have visual merchandising experience and pride yourself on your ability to create retail environments that are captivating, enticing and relevant.
You will also have:
- At least 4 years experience working in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate level computer skills (excel, word and outlook)
- Collaborative working style
- Experience in managing staff and volunteers
- Flexible and willing to work days and hours as required
