About us | Ko mātou tēnei
Harbour Hospice is one of the largest hospices in Aotearoa and has been caring for tūroro (patients) and their family and whānau for almost 40 years. Every day we care for close to 400 people across the North Shore, Hibiscus Coast and Warkworth/Wellsford regions, supporting them at home, in one of our two inpatient units, or in community programmes offered at each of our three sites.
Our bespoke services given free of charge, include medical care, spiritual, psychological and social support, physio, occupational and complementary therapy, social activities and more.
What’s in it for you?
Harbour Hospice is very fortunate to be well supported by active community volunteers who have helped us achieve lofty fundraising goals, including the recent complete redevelopments of Tui House and our North Shore Inpatient Unit. Your expertise in building on these connections will result in long lasting relationships and growth of contributions to the funding of an incredible clinical service. You will spend each working day in a rewarding and meaningful role, making a difference in your local community.
As an organisation we focus on personal and professional development for all our people. In this role, you will attend our Spirited Leadership Programme, and be paired up with an external coach to continue to grow your leadership competence.
Best of all, you will join an organisation that places aroha and manaakitanga at the core of everything that we do. We actively promote a workplace culture which embraces and reflects our core values – to be compassionate, inclusive and professional – at all times.
