About Us
Harbour Hospice is the only specialist, palliative care provider for families living in the Hibiscus Coast, North Shore and Warkworth / Wellsford communities. We provide compassionate, free care working primarily with patients, families, whanau and carers in their homes, and within our three hospice sites. Our bespoke services offer an holistic approach to care and include medical care, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural support, physiotherapy, social activities and more, with an emphasis on helping people live every moment in whatever way is important to them.
About the Role
The Grants Coordinator will take overall responsibility for the grants programme across Harbour Hospice to ensure this vital fundraising stream is maximised. This will be achieved through researching funding opportunities, submitting grant applications, meeting grant accountability and reporting requirements and building and maintaining relationships with funders.
This is a part time role with flexible hours . The successful candidate will be based at our Takapuna office but will also work across our Harbour Hospice sites with flexibility to work from home.
About You
You will have a proven track record of successfully managing a grants calendar to increase income and ideally have experience in the not-for-profit sector. You will have strong administration skills and your written communication skills will be outstanding.
You will also have:
- Experience in a similar fundraising role
- Exceptional communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Exceptional research and information management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised, approachable and collaborative working style
- Excellent IT skills
