You will have the opportunity to combine your strategic planning skills alongside the day to day operational requirements across the full remit of HR activity. Prepare for lots of variety – learning and development, health and safety, overseeing our volunteer workforce of 1400+, payroll, performance management, ER issues the list goes on. The role will also work alongside a newly established organisational development role to collaborate and develop a strategic direction for people and culture.
As a generalist practitioner you will be experienced in combining both the operational and strategic sides of HR Management. You will have worked within a unionised environment and been involved with the mediation process. Ideally, you’ll have experience working within the NFP sector with a wide-ranging workforce. This is a hands-on role and you will have the experience and confidence to support our managers and employees through the challenges they face.
