- Permanent part time hours working Tuesday, Thursday and every 2nd Saturday

Mō te tūnga | About the role
As Shop Assistant at our Te Hana shop you will provide practical hands-on support to the managers, ensuring a fantastic experience for all donors, customers and volunteers. You’ll be on your feet all day, receiving and sorting donations, supporting the volunteer team, ensuring they get a break and a cuppa, and working in the shop to help customers and process sales on the till. Each day you will take initiative and get involved in everything that's required in running a successful pre-loved goods store.
This is a permanent role working Tuesday, Thursday and alternate Saturdays 9:30am - 4.30pm.

Your retail background means you live and breathe great customer service. You take great pride in the service you provide and have high standards of presentation. You enjoy variety and will roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You get on well with all walks of life and can support and value your team of dedicated volunteers in a collaborative, open and positive way.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience in retail or a front-line customer service role
- Great communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Physical fitness. Able to stand on your feet for long periods and lift and move heavy objects
You’ll also have flexibility to change your hours on occasion to provide extra support as needed.
